MGMT (formally known as The Management) are an American musical group based in Brooklyn, New York consisting of Ben oo and Andrew VanWyngarden. Originally with New York-based Cantora Records, they signed on with Columbia Records/Red Ink/Sony in 2006.

Their debut album Oracular Spectacular debuted at number twelve on the UK album chart, and hit number one on the Billboard Top Heatseekers chart. MGMT's music style has often been compared to The Sleepy Jackson in terms of musical arrangement and vocals.
